Smut is something that happens to come up in role plays. Whether it be part of the role play, something that is about to happen to one of your characters, or it could just be on your dash. Sex and intimacy are a natural part of life and it makes sense that it would happen in the role play community. But, are you one of those individuals who has never written smut before? Is a little intimidated by it? Or just wants to know how to improve their writing of it? If you fit any of those categories or any other that are with regards to smut you should read these links. Don’t ever be afraid to write smut. Even if you think you will be terrible at it you will improve once you do it. Smut also doesn’t have to be for those who have actually had sex in their real life. Most people know what sex is and with the media today it is seen everywhere. In books, t.v. shows, movies, etc, so at some point you were exposed to it whether or not you have done it.
Just never write smut if you don’t feel comfortable with it or if someone is trying to force you. Just do what you are comfortable it, never write something because someone thinks that is the best way to go about a sex scene.
